There are four types of fees that need to be paid durning the course of a swimming season. These fees include monthly pool/coaching fees, an annual team fee, meet fees, and an annual registration fee for USA Swimming. It is important to remember that SWAT is a non-profit organization. Without prompt payment of fees the swim team cannot function. If you have any questions about what you might owe contact Chris Wightman at crwightman@comcast.net .
Monthly Pool and Coaching Fees
$35 is due on the first of the month for monthly/pool and coaching fees. Checks can be turned into Doug Tonge during practice. Those who have not paid their monthly fees by the 5th of the month will not be able to swim until their fees are paid.
Annual Team Fees
$20 is due during the month of September. These fees are used to arrange for team activities and other expenses that come up during the course of the year.
Meet Fees
Meet fees vary according to what the host team is charging for their meets. These will include a per event charge and a surcharge for the meet. Payment for the meets should be turned in with the meet entry form or as soon as possible after signing up for the meet by e-mail. Please note that if a swimmer cannot attend a meet after the team entry has been made meet fees cannot be refunded.
USA Registration Fee
$60.00 per year and is usually due in September. This fee must be paid within 30 days of joining the swim team. This membership allows swimmers to swim at USA Swimming sanctioned meets, allows swimmers access to the USA Swimming website tools, and comes with a subsription to the USA Swimming magazine.
